Wallace Cruz

Wallace knew from an early age that creating art was his calling. When he was 10, he created a pretend TV channel with fake logos for each show. When his cousin told him this was called graphic design, Wallace knew it was the career for him.

Lauren Bice

Lauren loves computer science and working with a variety of companies, so she joined the advertising industry to help brands build and improve their online presence. She holds a bachelor’s degree in web design and development from DeVry University and previously worked as a freelancer before joining the B. Now she helps create new websites and update existing ones for clients such as Longhorn Council, Boy Scouts of America; eTrueNorth and Smith+Nephew. A native of Mesquite, Texas, she lives in Burleson with her husband, two daughters and their dog.

Taylor Travis

Taylor has always been a problem-solver and people-person. She started college as a mathematics major before realizing she missed the human factor in the equation – and advertising was the solution. With a bachelor’s in marketing from Texas A&M, she went on to work with Schaefer Advertising and GCG Marketing, serving clients including the Fort Worth Zoo, NEOCUTIS and Ortho Dermatologics. Now on the B Team, she creates strategies that are both people-oriented and numbers-strong for clients such as Dairy MAX, Aspens Senior Living Communities and Presbyterian Night Shelter.

Katie Brinegar

A lover of true crime podcasts as well as all things organized, Katie is always up for a stimulating challenge; her high energy and keen attention to detail keep the office running smoothly. Before joining the B Team, she previously worked at CPA firm Hedman Partners in Valencia, California, as an administrative assistant then billing administrator. Now as front desk coordinator – managing administrative projects, front desk tasks and everyday office needs – Katie ensures her fellow B Teamers (whom she has dubbed “B’all”) can focus on clients.

Stephanie Orges

Stephanie began her career in advertising with Balcom as an intern and has been on the B Team full time for more than 10 years, armed with a penchant for creative writing that has given her versatility in voice and style. She has a few American Advertising Awards to prove it, including Best of Show, Best of Broadcast and multiple Best of Interactive awards. Whether it’s a video script, key messaging or an entire website, Stephanie wordsmiths for a variety of clients, including Dairy MAX, Mrs. Renfro’s salsa and Sinclair Oil.

Toni Stuard

Toni takes care of the numbers side of this crazy creative business, keeping projects organized, billing up to date and timesheets under control – ultimately also overseeing the project management team. She holds a B.B.A. in accounting from Texas Wesleyan University and has more than 30 years of industry experience that began at the Bloom Agency (now Publicis Advertising). An indispensable member of the Balcom family since 2001, she touches every project and works with every client.

Carol Glover

Named chief creative officer in 2024, Carol keeps our team in sync and inspired, steering all of the agency’s creative output, along with key strategy and culture work. Her fusion of strategic and emotional messaging has benefitted every Balcom client since her arrival in 2004 as Balcom’s first creative director, following stints at Witherspoon and Palomar Properties.

Ashley Freer

Named agency president in 2024, Ashley nurtures client relationships and strategy, while driving agency growth and operations. She first joined Balcom in 2009 and soon rose to leadership, directing a team of account managers and driving high-impact strategies for clients including Cook Children's Health Care System, Dairy MAX, Mrs. Renfro's salsa and Sinclair Oil. Originally from Georgia, Ashley previously worked for organizations including Ogilvy Public Relations, Atlanta History Center and BlueLinx Corporation.

Lesley Dupre

Formerly the public relations coordinator for Object 9 in Baton Rouge, for clients such as LSU Continuing Education and EATEL, she joined the B Team in 2010 and now crafts and delivers messages for clients including the Fort Worth Food + Wine Foundation, Hippo Sak, James L. West Center for Dementia Care, Mrs. Renfro’s salsa and the TCU Neeley School of Business.
