Ashley Freer

B-ography

Ashley heads strategy for Balcom and leads a group of account service team members. A B since 2009, she has developed high-impact strategies for clients including Cook Children's Health Care System, Dairy MAX, Mrs. Renfro's salsa and Sinclair Oil. Originally from Georgia, Ashley previously worked for organizations including Ogilvy Public Relations, Atlanta History Center and BlueLinx Corporation. With nearly 25 years of marketing experience, she has been consistently recognized for her career as well as her community impact: she was one of the Fort Worth Business Press 40 Under 40 in 2013, and was named among Fort Worth’s 400 most influential people by Fort Worth Inc. magazine in 2020, 2021 and 2022. A member of the Public Relations Society of America, Ashley sat on the boards of Fort Worth Sister Cities International and of Mayfest Inc., is a graduate of Leadership Fort Worth's 2015 class, and served as the 90th president of the Junior League of Fort Worth from 2019-2020. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in communication from Lee University and a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
