Kristen Cox


Kristen loves how advertising challenges both her logical and creative thinking. She joined the industry during high school, with an internship at Schaefer Advertising Co. that inspired her to pursue a Bachelor of Science in advertising with a minor in business from Texas State University. Kristen went on to work at The Richards Group and Southwest Media Group for clients such as MedStar Health, Omni Hotels & Resorts, FN America and VariDesk. She joined the B Team in 2021 to maximize campaigns for Smith+Nephew (Advanced Wound Management), Dairy MAX and James L. West Center for Dementia Care through careful media research, planning, buying and coordination. Kristen is originally from Chicago but now calls Northlake, Texas, home – alongside her husband, Jerimy; two stepdaughters; two dogs; and another pet she refers to as a “cat-dog.”


  • Kristen is obsessed with Orangetheory Fitness and does a minimum of five classes a week – and every year, she and her father do the Hotter’N Hell 100-mile bicycle race in Wichita Falls … in August.
  • Kristen also rides the other kind of bike; she and her husband often take weekend trips on their Harleys.
