Whether he’s playing a competitive game of chess or developing smart solutions for clients, Chris McIntyre loves a good challenge. Fascinated by the millions of sources vying for brain space, he switched his career focus from business management to marketing to help companies win the competition for consumers’ attention. Now, Chris helps brands such as Smith+Nephew (Advanced Wound Management) cut through the clutter with targeted strategies for success. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing from Angelo State University, where he previously worked in the communications and marketing department as student videographer and multimedia assistant. As an account executive, Chris also worked agency side, serving companies like Kisco Senior Living, CarsArrive, Allen Economic Development Corporation and more. He joined the B Team in 2021 and lives in Fort Worth with his dog, Theo.
- Chris is multi-award-winning chess champion. Like “The Queen’s Gambit,” minus the orphanage and induced hallucinations, he competed (and won) in several tournaments as a kid.
- Speaking of winning, Chris won a CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education) award in college for his social media series, Minute Monday.
- Chris frowns a lot. But his frowns don’t mean he’s feeling down: He’s just in deep thought.
