B-ography

Wallace knew from an early age that art was his calling. At age 10, he created a pretend TV channel with commercials and logos for each imaginary show. When his cousin told him this was called graphic design, Wallace knew it was the career for him. More than 20 years of design, editing and animation experience later, he’s created for clients including Smith+Nephew, Kubota Tractor Corporation, The PARC vet and ACH Child and Family Services. With Balcom since 2023, he previously worked for 9thWonder, Lopez Negrete Communications, BushRenz and Diarios Associados. Born in Recife, the capital of Brazil’s northeastern state of Pernambuco, Wallace holds degrees in graphic design and art direction from Pernambuco Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology and Miami Ad School, and now lives in Wylie, Texas, with his wife, two children and their dog Keons.
