Chris Hawthorne Joins Balcom Agency As Media Director

FORT WORTH, Texas – Dec. 21, 2017 – Chris Hawthorne has joined Balcom Agency as media director, bringing more than 20 years of experience in media planning and buying to the agency and its clients.

Hawthorne comes to Balcom from Slingshot in Dallas, where she served as associate media director and then group media director for 10 years, before transitioning into a human resources role. Over the course of her career, she has planned and negotiated digital and traditional media across global, national and regional markets for such clients as American Heart Association, Mission Tortillas, Texas Tourism and Joe’s Crab Shack, and has leveraged her expertise and management skills to lead and mentor media buying teams. At Balcom, Hawthorne will put her award-winning media planning talents to work for such clients as Sinclair Oil Company, Ball Park Buns, Mrs Baird’s Bread and Cavender’s.
