Balcom Agency Earns National and Regional Industry Recognition
FORT WORTH, Texas – May 23, 2017 – Balcom Agency was recently recognized for multiple client projects by several regional and national communications industry organizations: the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Healthcare Advertising Awards and Dallas Society of Visual Communications (DSVC). The honors recognized excellence in public relations campaigns, health care advertising and logo design.
Among hundreds of national entries, Balcom was one of only 94 winners selected by the Public Relations Society of America to receive a Bronze Anvil Award of Commendation for the development of the Ball Park Buns blog and social media strategy. Additionally, the agency earned three national awards at the 34th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards, a competition recognizing excellence and creativity in health care advertising. This year, nearly 4,000 health care advertising entries were submitted, and Balcom was among only 367 gold winners and 322 silver winners for work including:

- Cook Children’s Health Care System ACE Kids Act Video (Gold)
- LifeGift 2016 Annual Report / 2017 Calendar, “Together in Hope” (Silver)
Balcom’s design of the new Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival logo system also earned regional recognition by the Dallas Society of Visual Communications. The project was selected among hundreds of entries from Dallas-Fort Worth creative professionals to appear in the organization’s prestigious Dallas Show on June 1, which showcases innovation in creative communication across the DFW metroplex.
