Lisa Zakarin is New York tough and not afraid to push for excellence – or to celebrate it when she sees it. She’s found herself drawn to health care marketing, including hospital, skin care and device businesses, because she’s passionate about accountable marketing that improves patient lives. With a Bachelor of Science in finance from Boston University, she’s spent more than 30 years serving a broad range of clients – from startups to Fortune 100 companies – including brands in pharmaceuticals, such as Pfizer and Galderma; financial services, like Citi and Chase; entertainment; tech; and packaged goods. Lisa also studied for a Master’s in organizational psychology at Columbia University in New York. She worked at agencies including Wunderman, FCB, Deutsch and Publicis before joining Balcom in 2021 to use her savvy for Smith+Nephew (Advanced Wound Management). Originally from Westchester, New York, she now lives in Dallas. She has two grown daughters and a Yorkie named Baby.
