Honey Freer is a 6-pound Chihuahua, and though she be but little, she is fierce – able to tear the squeakers out of her soft toys and shake them until they squeak no more. Yet she is also very loving as a pup-lick relations specialist and certified expert in the art of snuggles. At age 98 in dog years, Honey stays young by being active, always running, leaping and bouncing to keep her team on task. She originally met her human, Ashley, in the suburbs of Atlanta; sometimes you can still detect a slight drawl in her bark. Now she happily calls Fort Worth home.
- Honey understands the term “leave it” and will walk away – even if she really wants the item.
- Honey has a sophisticated palate: her favorite treats are cashews and peanut butter.
