Senior Project Manager
Senior Project Manager
WHY BE GOOD WHEN YOU CAN BE GREAT?
Do you have a mind like a steel trap? Do you kill it on trivia game night? Do you keep your clothes hanging from dark to light; long sleeves to short sleeves? Do you find beauty in a well-designed GANTT chart? Then the new Project Management Team at Balcom Agency wants to talk to you!
At Balcom Agency, we believe great marketing is a marriage of art and science, where insight, creativity and technology work brilliantly together. We’re not your average advertising agency, social media shop, web group or PR firm. We’re all of those things rolled into one. And we are adding the Project Management discipline to our group.
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER 5+ years of experience required in Project Management
The successful Senior Project Manager will manage budgets and facilitate communications between internal teams and clients in a fast-paced environment.
- The primary responsibility of the Sr. Project Manager is to manage all client projects through their lifecycle, including scoping proposals and timelines, creating estimates, as well as managing budgets and schedules. The Senior PM works closely with others in the PM team to facilitate consistent communication between the agency’s Creative, Web, Media, Video and Account Services teams, ensuring the on-time delivery of all client projects. The Senior PM role is responsible for being the agency advocate and effectively managing projects on-budget, on-time and on-quality (tactical).
- The Senior PM works closely with vendors/contractors assigned to their projects, managing them within scope and budget, as well as ensuring their components are executed on-quality (tactical) and on-time in support of the overarching project. An effective problem solver on a day-to-day basis, the Senior PM must be adept at anticipating problems and recognizing opportunities.
- Experience developing architectures and workflows is valuable. And if you have worked with the Workamajig project management system, even better!
The diversity of our client mix means you’ll never be bored. From tractors to food, from hospitals to festivals, we work with some of the biggest companies in their industries. This position will support more than one client.
