We’re adding a paid search specialist who has five or more years of experience in digital media and is located within three hours of our Fort Worth, TX office.
The Details
Balcom’s newest paid search specialist will be comfortable rolling up their sleeves and joining media teammates in the active planning and buying for a broad range of clients. The paid search specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day management and optimization of clients’ paid search campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads and other relevant search engines. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a deep understanding of PPC best practices and a proven track record of improving campaign performance and ROI. This role is integral to ongoing work, and the specialist will play an active role in crafting the best path for clients. Our new specialist should have strong presentation skills and enjoy presenting, as they will deliver client presentations alongside other team members on a weekly basis. We’re looking for someone who is an effective negotiator, a critical thinker, and able to establish and build rapport with clients and media professionals alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and communicate strategies and campaign progress to clients as well as internal stakeholders.
- Manage paid search campaigns across multiple channels, including keyword research, planning, strategy, execution, analysis and reporting.
- Identify areas for ongoing optimizations and bid optimizations.
- Design and implement testing for performance enhancement.
- Provide competitive intelligence reports through third-party tools and share this information with clients.
- Analyze and interpret campaign data to provide insights for digital reports in collaboration with the analytics and media teams.
- Work collaboratively with the AdOps team to ensure third-party tracking is executed correctly (e.g., tracking pixels, all tracking, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, etc.).
- Maintain knowledge of search engine trends to develop agency POVs and communicate best practices for clients and colleagues.
- Maintain positive relationships with media vendors and colleagues.
- Make and collaborate on presentations, and prepare slide decks.
- Work within budgets and timelines to keep the agency profitable.
- Communicate clearly and collaboratively with team members to keep projects moving.
- Work in a fast-paced setting while being detail-oriented.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Deep knowledge of Google Sheets and Excel spreadsheets
- Deep knowledge of Google AdWords, Google Analytics and Bing
- Search and Display certifications preferred, Google Demand Gen/Performance Max
- Experience with buying digital media or retail media a plus
- Knowledge of third-party ad servers like Google Campaign Manager
- Knowledge of dashboard visualization programs like TapClicks or Tableau a plus
- Must learn to use GaleForce Media (MediaForce buying software)
- Quantitative skills and ability to analyze data to provide insights to clients
- Previous experience in an advertising agency environment
- Must be legally able to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must pass a background check as part of accepting any job offer
We have a hybrid work environment – work from your home office or our home office. This person will be asked to come into the office in Fort Worth regularly for client meetings.
