The Balcom Agency wins the only gold ADDY® from Fort Worth in District Ten’s American Advertising Federation Competition

DALLAS, Texas – The Balcom Agency won the only gold ADDY® award given to a Fort Worth agency in the American Advertising Federation’s District Ten competition. (District Ten is comprised of local ad federations from Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas.) Balcom also won the most ADDYs overall from Fort Worth in the multi-state competition with 10 awards. The agency struck gold for an exquisite journal it created for Edwards Ranch, to be used as a sales brochure for the ranch’s exclusive new Riverhills development. Wrapped in a soft leather tie, the illustrated journal tells stories about the Edwards family and the ranch they established back in 1848 when Fort Worth was still wilderness. The journal promotes the new Riverhills development as a community that will honor the Edwards legacy and preserve much of the ranchland.

The agency also won four silver ADDY® awards for the donor materials created for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Fort Worth and a viral marketing campaign for the Arts Council of Fort Worth & Tarrant County. The agency received five bronze ADDYs® for creative work done for Justin Boot Company, LifeGift, Garrison Partners, Jason Catchings Hunting and Fishing, and Edwards Ranch. “We’re so proud that our work is recognized as the best of the ADDYs at a multi-state level, but at the end of the day, it’s about creating great work that creates bottom-line results for our clients,” said Stuart Balcom, the agency’s president. The AAF District Ten ADDY® competition is the second of a three-tier competition for the American Advertising Federation’s prestigious national ADDY® Award, the premiere industry recognition for excellence in advertising. The awards were announced Friday, April 18 during the annual convention in Dallas. The national awards will be given out on June 10 in Atlanta, Georgia.
