Balcom Agency Sponsors PRSA Seminar on Public Relations and Social Media Measurement Featuring Expert Katie Paine

Fort Worth, Texas – April 15, 2010 – Balcom Agency is collaborating with the Greater Fort Worth Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) to sponsor its spring professional development program featuring renowned public relations measurement expert Katie Paine. The program, scheduled for May 19 at Colonial Country Club, will focus on effective public relations and social media measurement. 

In the program’s morning session, Paine will discuss how social media is revolutionizing communications and present new ways to measure levels of engagement. She will review a variety of quantitative, qualitative, and new relationship metrics.  

Over lunch, Paine will leverage an array of real-world case studies to review the principles of measurement and discuss how they apply in the realm of social media. Following the seminar, Paine will be available to sign her book, Measuring Public Relationships: The Data-Driven Communicator’s Guide to Measuring Success.  

Paine is the CEO and founder of KDPaine & Partners, LLC in New Hampshire and is known for writing the first-ever blog and newsletter dedicated to public relations and social media measurement. Paine’s clients include Fortune 500 companies such as Hewlett-Packard and Southwest Airlines, as well as non-profit organizations, small businesses and government agencies.
