Balcom Agency Scores Best of Show—Electronic at 2012 Fort Worth ADDY® Awards

Fort Worth, Texas – February 28, 2012 – Balcom Agency, an advertising, interactive and public relations firm based in Fort Worth, was honored with eight ADDY® Awards at the American Advertising Federation of Fort Worth’s 2012 awards gala, including the most coveted award for interactive work. Balcom garnered Best of Show—Electronic for the agency’s design of VeritasEnergyLLC.com created for Texas-based Veritas Energy, an independent oil and gas company. In addition to Best of Show in the electronic category, Balcom earned a Gold ADDY for the Veritas website, a win that recognizes excellence in website design and digital media.

The agency also earned three Silver ADDY Awards for: Balcom’s design of the Veritas logo; the agency’s invitation design for the Henry House Foundation’s Fifth Annual White Hot Night Gala; and MyTexasFFA.org, a website designed for Texas Future Farmers of America.

The remaining three wins, all Bronze ADDY Awards, recognized Balcom’s work for Justin Boots on two interactive media projects and one point-of-purchase design. 

The American Advertising Federation, a not-for-profit industry association, conducts the ADDY Awards through its 200 local advertising clubs in 15 districts. It is the only creative awards program administered by the advertising industry for the industry, and is the world’s largest advertising competition with nearly 60,000 submissions annually. Local Gold ADDY winners, recognized as the highest level of creative excellence each year, move on to compete in regional district awards.
