Balcom Agency Promotes Richie Escovedo, APR, to Director of Project Management & PR Specialist

FORT WORTH, Texas – May 8, 2024 – Balcom Agency announces the promotion of Richie Escovedo, APR, to director of project management and PR specialist. In his new position, Escovedo oversees agency project managers, those responsible for building out the scope of client work, as well as managing timelines and budgets.

Escovedo joined Balcom Agency in 2014 and has served clients in both an account management and project management capacity, working closely with accounts such as Dairy MAX, HF Sinclair and Mrs. Renfro’s salsa, among others.

Prior to working for Balcom, Escovedo served as director of communications at Mansfield ISD and, previously, Nolan Catholic High School. A 25-year PR professional, he has earned numerous public relations awards, was named among the Fort Worth 40 Under 40 by Fort Worth Business Press in 2004 and was the 2014 president of the Greater Fort Worth Chapter of PRSA (Public Relations Society of America). Escovedo earned his B.A. in communication studies from the University of North Texas and earned an Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) from PRSA in 2015.
