Balcom Agency Logos Included in Top Design Publication

Fort Worth, Texas – May 18, 2010 – Balcom Agency has been recognized for two of its recent logo designs in the sixth volume of Logo Lounge, a critically acclaimed resource for logo research, inspiration, and reference.

An international panel of judges chose two Balcom designs from among 34,000 entered for consideration. Logos to be included in the forthcoming volume of Logo Lounge include a logo designed for Santa Fe Youth Services, a non-profit organization providing substance abuse prevention, intervention and counseling services to local youth and their families, and a logo designed for Tony Lama Stars, a new line of Tony Lama women’s cowboy boots.

The Santa Fe Youth Services logo, which reflects the urban lifestyle of the organization’s primary audience, features a break-dancing teen whose upside-down figure is comprised of the name of the organization.  Resembling a red bandana, the Tony Lama Stars logo recalls the patriotic wardrobe of an American cowboy. Both logos were designed by senior art director Holly Aguilar.

The sixth volume of Logo Lounge will be available for purchase in the winter of 2011 through Amazon.com. For more information on Logo Lounge, please visit www.logolounge.com.
