Balcom Agency Hires Jamie Fisher as Senior Copywriter and Content Specialist
FORT WORTH, TX – May 17, 2012 – Jamie Fisher has joined the Balcom Agency as senior copywriter and content specialist, bringing more than a decade of experience in both brand messaging and content creation to the B team. Unknown Object Prior to joining Balcom, Fisher was a senior copywriter at AvreaFoster, a primarily business-to-business marketing agency, where she developed copy and creative concepts for clients in a variety of industries. Before that, she served as a copywriter for the online dating site, TRUE.com, where she was also editor of the weekly online magazine; and at the architecture and engineering firm, Carter & Burgess, where she was also content manager for various multimedia and print projects. “Jamie’s range of talents perfectly suits Balcom’s range of work,” said Carol Glover, Balcom’s creative director. “As great content becomes more and more intrinsic to great marketing, her word-smithing skills and creativity will be vital for our clients.” Fisher holds a master of the arts in English from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and a bachelor of the arts in English from Baylor University.
