Balcom Agency Hires Eric Redmond as Senior Art Director

FORT WORTH, Texas – Oct. 2, 2020 – Eric Redmond has joined Balcom Agency’s award-winning creative team as senior art director, bringing his eye for design and more than 26 years of creative expertise to the agency and its clients.

Eric comes to Balcom from Denton-based advertising and marketing agency Produce Results, where he served as creative director for the last three years. Prior to that, he held senior art director positions at BeautiControl, a former cosmetics manufacturer and marketing company, and USFI, a full-service advertising and marketing agency in Dallas. He brings a wide range of experience working on projects in health care, financial services, hospitality and telecommunications for brands such as MetroPCS, Verizon, First State Bank, PenTex Energy and Magnolia Hotels. His work has received many accolades including recognition at the Davey Awards, Communicator Awards, Graphic Design USA and the Dallas Society of Visual Communications (DSVC) Show. Now at Balcom, Eric works to conceptualize and design marketing campaigns for Sinclair Oil Corporation, Smith+Nephew Advanced Wound Care Management and others.

“Eric is the kind of person you want on your creative team,” said Carol Glover, principal of creative services at Balcom. “He not only has the mastery of technical skills to do the work, but his meticulous approach to the creative process and big-picture thinking will help propel our clients forward. We are excited to have him at the agency and look forward to all he’ll accomplish here.”

As is customary at Balcom, Eric will also take on a secondary, quirky title. His alias, “I Cropped the Serif,” is an ode to his experience working with typography and graphic design – but moreover, his witty personality and innate ability to craft clever puns.

Eric has volunteered with the DSVC and American Advertising Federation, Dallas. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in communication design from the University of North Texas.
