Balcom Agency Achieves Workplace Honors as a 2023 Fort Worth Inc. Best Companies to Work For Recipient

FORT WORTH, Texas – Sept. 13, 2023 – Balcom Agency, founded in 1993 and celebrating its 30-year anniversary, has been named one of Fort Worth Inc.’s Best Companies to Work For in Fort Worth for 2023. The business magazine selected 45 winners submitted by small, medium and large organizations.

Balcom, a first-time participant, placed eighth in the medium employer category and is recognized in the Fall 2023 special publication. Representatives from Balcom attended the special awards luncheon at River Ranch on Aug. 17.

Initiated in the spring of 2023, Balcom and other participants allowed Workforce Research Group, a third-party entity hired by the magazine, to conduct an anonymous survey and analysis to determine winners, asking questions about workplace policies, practices and employee-centered philosophies. Tarrant, Denton, Hood, Johnson and Parker county groups could be submitted, including for-profit, nonprofit and government organizations. All must have employed 15+ part-time or full-time people in Fort Worth and have been in business for at least a year.

Specific recognition about Balcom noted that it has grown from a firm of a “couple of guys and one card table” to more than 50 employees and creatives who share a mission to “B great.” One anonymous Balcom employee quoted in the magazine appreciates that Balcom hires people “... who understand what needs to be done and figure out the best way to do it.”
