Lane Kuntz

Lane – whose full name, Malana, comes from the Polynesian word for buoyancy – is fittingly energetic and positive in everything she does. And with nearly 20 years’ experience in pharmaceuticals and health care across sales, marketing, regulatory and corporate communications for Alcon and Galderma, she brings crucial B2B industry expertise to the B Team for clients such as Smith+Nephew. When she isn’t building killer strategies for her clients, she’s raising a son; running her start-up company, Sugar Momma Scrubs; sweeping up pet fur (shed by four dogs and a cat); collecting vinyl; doing hot yoga; and raising money and awareness for the Children’s Skin Disease Foundation. Lane is also a proud third-generation Horned Frog, with a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing from Texas Christian University.

  • Originally a Balcom client, Lane worked with us on an Alcon project for bacterial conjunctivitis, aka pink eye, that won Best of Show at the 2009 American Advertising Awards.
  • While at Galderma, Lane co-founded the Wonder Run, an annual 1K/5K walk/run benefiting the Children’s Skin Disease Foundation. During her 5 years on this event, she helped raise nearly half a million dollars.
