Jamie was pursuing a Ph.D. in English and teaching at Texas Christian University when she realized she wanted an outlet with more reach and creative freedom than the academic world had to offer. She started her copywriting journey at Carter & Burgess, went on to write for TRUE.com and AvreaFoster, and landed at the B in 2012. Here, she’s penned campaigns and websites for clients including Smith+Nephew (Advanced Wound Management), Longhorn Council (Boy Scouts of America) and Cook Children’s Health Care System, earning several ADDY Awards, including Best of Show 2012. Jamie rose to the associate creative director position in 2014, where she helps lead creative strategy on projects for a variety of clients. With a bachelor’s degree in English from Baylor University and a master’s from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Jamie now lives in Fort Worth with her husband and daughter, and their dog, Logan.
- Jamie once auditioned for the lead in the film adaptation of Annie – and got callbacks.
- Jamie helped organize Fort Woof, Fort Worth’s first off-leash dog park.
