Emily is a gifted illustrator and designer who has won over 20 graphic design awards. She spent 10 years as an art scholar – earning her Bachelor of Arts in art history (Baylor University), Master of Arts in art history (Texas Christian University) and Bachelor of Fine Arts in visual communication (University of Texas at Arlington). After realizing she wanted to make art instead of studying it, she joined the advertising industry to work for brands like Eno's Pizza Tavern, Val's Cheesecakes, and Grace & Grit at Alcorn Agency and Hutson Creative before joining the B in 2019. She lives in Fort Worth; is a member of the Dallas Society of Visual Communications and American Institute of Graphic Arts; and loves queso, posters and historical fiction.
- Emily is a dog whisperer and self-proclaimed “mother of dachshunds.” Hers are named Toby and Hadley.
