Social Media Supervisor

We’re adding a social media expert to our team who can design and support social media efforts for clients in multiple industries. The successful social media supervisor will have at least five years of experience with organic social media; they should be comfortable writing strategy, rolling up their sleeves, translating ideas into content and jumping into a thriving agency environment.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive conversation, engagement and interest for clients as a leader of social media strategy for the agency
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for social content creation and community management, keep up on cultural and digital trends, relevancy and best practices
  • Prepare, present and execute social media plans and playbooks to meet client goals, laddering up to business objectives
  • Work directly with the agency creative team to drive good ideas to execution, vetting ideas against strategy and moving quickly when needed 
  • Actively participate and brainstorm in meetings with clients, vendors and colleagues where social media is a tactic within the client’s strategic plans
  • Oversee execution for multiple clients, including as part of the content idea generation team
  • Execute ideas to drive conversation, engagement and interest for clients based on social media personalities and creative/brand standards
  • Work within budgets and estimates 
  • Work in conjunction with our digital strategy and media/paid social teams to measure key performance indicators for all projects
  • Stay up to date on best practices in an ever-changing field

Qualifications:

  • Clear, concise writing that follows AP style and can fluctuate from straight-forward to witty 
  • Deep knowledge of social marketing platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok and others
  • Some knowledge of Google AdWords, display and mobile advertising
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Slides, Sheets, etc.)

B Interview Process

Be prepared for Google meetings with multiple team members to accommodate our hybrid workstyle. Applicants will have an initial video interview with the hiring manager, and may progress to a second interview with leaders of other teams before a decision is made. We may ask for an in-person breakfast or lunch meet up if applicants are in the area.
