FORT WORTH, Texas – Oct. 17, 2006 – Edwards Ranch has selected the Balcom Agency as the advertising and marketing agency of record for the 850-acre mixed-used development in Fort Worth. “We are proud to be working with the Balcom Agency as our agency of record,” said Scott Walker, an officer of Cassco Development Co., Inc., the developer of Edwards Ranch. “Balcom understood the history of our project and how to best connect with the many markets that will be served by Edwards Ranch. We look forward to launching the first phase of our development.” The Balcom Agency will create and implement a fully integrated marketing campaign that will position Edwards Ranch for future residential and commercial real estate sales, said Trinity Works President Isaac Manning, whose company is the development consultant for Edwards Ranch. The first phase of residential development will launch in early 2007. “We’ve wanted to be a part of the Edwards Ranch team, since we first heard about the new development,” said Stuart Balcom, president of the Balcom Agency. “This is the last, big high-end residential, office and retail development that’s happening in the heart of our city. We look forward to working to make Edwards Ranch the place to live, work and shop in Fort Worth.” Established in 1848 as a working cattle ranch in Southwest Fort Worth, Edwards Ranch will now encompass three distinct communities: Riverhills, a 320-acre high-end custom residential neighborhood encompassing 500 lots; Clearfork, a 279-acre town center and office campus; and Overland, a later phased mixed-use development. The development of Clearfork kicked off earlier this year when Acme Brick Company purchased nearly six acres as the site of its new corporate headquarters. Founded in 1993, the Balcom Agency has provided its clients with comprehensive advertising, public relations and marketing solutions to various business challenges. The agency’s roster also includes such local, regional and national clients as Justin Boots, Justin Original Workboots, Tony Lama, Texas Health Resources, Harris Methodist Hospitals, Alcon Laboratories, the Neeley School of Business at TCU and Colonial Savings.
