Agency will showcase artistic works by staff members and friends FORT WORTH, Texas, August 21, 2006 — The Balcom Agency will celebrate the art in advertising with a special gallery exhibit at the Fort Worth-based advertising and public relations firm on Friday, Sept. 8. The agency welcomes all Arts Goggle enthusiasts and the general public to visit its offices at 1500 Ballinger at Rio Grande and tour the exhibit from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. “Advertising has long been considered an art form,” said Balcom Creative Director Carol Glover. “This exhibit enables us to showcase the artistic talents of our team members that help make our clients so successful.” The exhibit will include more than 20 works of photography, painting and sculpture created by members of the Balcom Agency family and various artists who collaborate with the agency. World-renowned Western photographer David Stoecklein will have two photographs on display. Other highlights of the exhibit include: • paintings by Nancy Baku, Balcom account director, and Mick Swindall, Balcom art director • unique furniture crafted by Heagan Bayles, Balcom IT administrator • photography by local favorites Geno Loro Jr., Truitt Rogers, Robie Capps • paintings and artwork by Balcom family members, including up-and-coming artist Sam Swihart, son of Balcom Production Director Lynne Swihart Founded in 1993, the Balcom Agency provides its clients with comprehensive advertising, public relations and marketing solutions to various business challenges.
