Metropolitan’s new look wins the gold!

FORT WORTH, Texas, Feb. 21, 2008 – The Metropolitan’s illustrated advertising campaign and sales kit, created by the Balcom Agency, won gold trophies from the American Advertising Federation Fort Worth ADDY annual awards competition.

For the “Life Within Walking Distance” campaign, Balcom’s team took a simple graphic approach by using flat colors from the Metropolitan’s logo to create contemporary silhouette-style images. “I was thrilled with the illustrations because they are simple, yet intriguingly fresh,” said the Balcom Agency’s creative director, Carol Glover.
