Contact: Margaret Ritsch Edwards Ranch Brochure Takes the Gold FORT WORTH, Texas, Feb. 20, 2008 – Edwards Ranch’s new sales brochure, designed as an illustrated personal journal by the Balcom Agency, won a gold award from the American Advertising Federation Fort Worth ADDY annual awards competition. Balcom’s team created a one-of-a-kind brochure in the form of an aged leather-bound journal, complete with scrapbook-style pictures, cursive handwriting, landscape sketches and faded pages. The brochure focused on the ranch’s history and the Edwards family’s important legacy as stewards of the land. It is being used as a sales brochure for Riverhills, a heavily treed neighborhood of estate homes to be built across 320 acres of Trinity River forest and lined with an expansive system of parks and trails. The Edwards Ranch was founded in 1848, one year before the establishment of Fort Worth as a military outpost. The ranch once spanned 7,000 acres of land lying directly south and west of what is now downtown Fort Worth.
