In April 2010, The Art Institute of Fort Worth threw open its doors to a welcoming public, making a great splash in the Fort Worth community. VIP speakers included State Rep. Mark Shelton, M.D., Fort Worth Mayor Mike Moncrief and Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce President Bill Thornton. Coverage included KXAS NBC 5, KDFW Fox 4, Star-Telegram and the Fort Worth Chamber Newz-e-letter. The Grand Opening capped a five-month public relations effort by Balcom that included community and influencer outreach, sponsorship coordination and media relations.
