I agree and I do that, too, though sometimes I wonder if they
1. Think I am strange for doing it, and
2. Maybe can't see my hand or were not looking. But I feel better when I do it.

Sonja, I have also wondered if they think I'm strange, but I feel better when I do it, so I just go ahead and wave knowing it makes me feel warm and fuzzy and hoping that it makes them feel the same.
