Fact Friday: Shoes
If you gave me the choices of a $600 Christian Louboutin pumps or $15 Mossimo ballet flats, I'm probably going to take the flats. Am I crazy? Probably. But I'm also insanely practical and secure in my simple yet unfortunate style.

Time was I would definitely have chosen the heels, but lately I've found wearing them throws my back out ... and they're totally impractical for any kind of life on your feet. Wearing shoes with heels like those suggests that
1. You work at a desk all day or
2. You don't work at all and so you're going out on the town for the evening.
Flats rule for most applications, whether the shoe collecting woman admits this to herself or not.
Sonja, I TOTALLY agree! Flats CAN have some flair (mine don't, sadly) and are more comfortable. No sense in killing yourself for cute shoes...
